Graham Fowell, a.k.a. The Hit Man is a full time professional international caricature and cartoon artist. He cut his caricaturing teeth in the Royal Navy, contributing to the Ship’s newspapers and decommissioning books until a fork in the sea diverted him to East Warwickshire College of Art in Rugby. After working in advertising and subsequently with an East London Newspaper Group, Graham set forth as The Hit Man in 1987.
The Hit Man Studios now produce a wide variety of caricature and cartoon work – Live Quick Sketch Caricatures at all kinds of private and corporate events and celebrations – Presentation Caricatures commissioned for retirement, birthday, wedding, anniversary, leaving or any-occasion gifts – Press Cartoons and Book Illustrations – Website Cartoons – Greeting Cards – Sports Cartoons under the heading of Fowell Play – plus a range of Comedy Golf Songs presented as CD-attached Greeting Cards under the name of Swinging Willy – part of the The Most Ridiculous range.
Graham’s delighted clients include – BAA, BBC Worldwide, Channel 4, Saatchis, SAB Miller, Seagrams, The Prudential, Barclays, Lloyds TSB, Microsoft, Seagrams, BT, Vodafone, Deloitte, Railtrack……..to name but a few.
Graham is a past Treasurer and Chairman of The Cartoonists’ Club of Great Britain (CCGB). He was for a number of years the Treasurer of The Federation of Cartoonists’ Organisations (FECO) and is a member of The Professional Cartoonists’ Organisation (PCO).
