Hunt Emerson has drawn cartoons and comic strips since the early 1970s. He has published around 30 comic books in his own name, mainly with Knockabout Comics (London), including Lady Chatterley's Lover, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, and Casanova's Last Stand. His comics have been translated into 10 languages, he has been awarded several Comic Strip prizes, and in 2000 he was chosen as one of 75 "Maitres de la Bande Dessinee Europeenne" by the Bibliotheque Nationale de France and the CNBDI, Angouleme. His latest book, Dante's Inferno, will be published in September 2012.
Hunt's work is regularly in The Beano (Ratz), Fiesta (Firkin the Cat) and Fortean Times (Phenomenomix).
