An exhibition called Penwill’s Countryside Cartoons opens tomorrow (May 8th) at the Assembly Rooms in Ludlow, Shropshire.
It features 50 cartoons by PCOer Roger Penwill, mostly from the collection The Countryside Cartoon Joke Book published last year by Merlin Unwin. Many of the cartoons are from The Countryman magazine which has featured Penwill cartoons regularly since 2002.
The venue is The Gallery, Ludlow Assembly Rooms, 1 Mill Street, Ludlow. The exhibition runs until June 14th. Opening times are 10am-8pm every day. Admission is free.
To tie in with the exhibition, Roger Penwill will be holding a cartoon workshop for age 12+ on Tuesday 26th May at 2.30pm. Entry for the workshop is £3.50.
