An exciting opportunity, open exclusively to PCO members

June 2016 sees the opening of the annual Royal Academy Summer Show wherein all manner of Art is displayed for public enlightenment.
Just around the corner from the R.A. is the Chris Beetles Gallery – in Ryder St, St. James’s, a prestigious address for a prestigious cartoon-friendly gallery.
Recently, the PCO Committee met with Chris and son Alex and suggested that they might put on a show of Art cartoons called “NOT the Royal Academy Summer Show” to coincide with yer actual R.A. Summer Show. To the Committee’s unbridled delight, Messrs. Beetles jumped at the chance. So June next year heralds a show of PCO members’ Art cartoon originals by some of the best cartoonists in the country, as part of the gallery’s Summer Show. Publishers please note.
We’re particularly pleased about this because its very difficult to find a halfway decent venue for a cartoon exhibition in London. The Chris Beetles Gallery’s THE best one.

To get a flavour of the gallery (and a peek at the ‘British Art of Illustration 1837-2015′ exhibition currently on show) visit Chris Beetles’ site.
