I’m a regular cartoonist for Private Eye and I draw a large-scale colour cartoon for The Sunday Times every week.

My work has also featured in The Spectator, Reader’s Digest (UK & US), The Oldie, The Critic, The Week, Prospect, Viz and History Today, among others. I was the regular pocket cartoonist for Scotland’s Press & Journal newspaper between 2012 and 2018, producing three topical cartoons a week to very tight deadlines.

My cartoons have been used by Saatchi & Saatchi, Penguin Random House, Cambridge University Press, The Open University, M&G Investments, Heathrow Airport, Timothy Taylor Ales and many others. I have illustrated bestselling books, worked with advertising agencies, and produced cartoons for major corporates. I have also written jokes for well-known greetings card brands.

In 2020, I teamed up with the psychologist and author Kevin Dutton to launch Bottle Moments: a social-media project through which I have been drawing personalised cartoons to lift the spirits of frontline key workers as they support us during the Covid-19 pandemic. I drew 300 of these personalised cartoons, with the project receiving a wide range of media attention including feature spots on ITV and on BBC Radio.

I pride myself on my ability to tackle any brief and to always hit a deadline. I’m great at coming up with original, funny and visually interesting ideas for cartoons and illustrations, and enjoy working with my clients to make sure they get what they’re looking for.
