Samuel Ojo

Samuel is a skilled cartoonist & illustrator with a keen eye for satire who comments on social and political events through his art. His professional experience of over a decade spans industries such as publishing, advertising, PR, and TV broadcasting. He recently completed his Masters in Visual Communication at Birmingham City University.

Samuel is constantly honing his skills and exploring new ways to communicate ideas through his art. His ultimate goal is to spark conversations and inspire positive change in his corner of the world through art.

Currently, Samuel is an editorial cartoon contributor for BusinessDay Newspaper and has been published in outlets such as Somaliland Chronicles, Document Women, Sachs Media, BBG The West Virginian, and The Cultura Media. His work has appeared in several exhibitions, including Chatham House’s Humour as Black Experience’ Exhibition. His immigration-themed piece ‘Come Care for Ours, Forget Yours’ is currently displayed at The Cartoon Museum, London.
