I am a german cartoonist but I grew up in Italy and currently I live and work in the UK. My cartoons have been published in the UK (The Guardian, Private Eye, The Critic, The Oldie) in Ireland (The Phoenix) and in the US (Alta). I sign my cartoons as Hard.  In my parallel life, I am an Associate Professor in Conservation Biology at the University of Chester, UK.
