We now return you to our regularly scheduled cynicism …
And so a generation was inspired, to spend all day watching television. Now we must make sure we remember the legacy of the London 2012 Games, and perhaps switch over to The Jeremy Kyle Show on ITV.
This is the last of our Personal Bests cartoons, originally seen at last year’s Shrewsbury Cartoon Festival. Browse the portfolios for more great cartoons.

This musn’t sink into the west without a single comment. The Games were marred by the grasping, commercially hardheaded approach to copyright by LOGOC. Whether the games generated income to match their cost is yet to be seen. Weasely words from government sources will try through statistics and/or damn lies to show that they did, but real proof of worthy inheritance should be seen in exactly WHO gets to live in the now empty athlete’s village. Rich types who could live anywhere, or poor buggers who’ve lost their jobs.
